An antique 10-volume collection from The Works of William Makepeace Thackeray. These are perfect for reading and for home decor staging of bookshelves!
Volumes have green bindings with blind-stamped design banding on covers and spines with gilt lettering. Many illustrations in each volume by Thackeray himself and by Richard Doyle.

Good condition with a small bit of age-related wear to covers/spines of 138-year-old books. Some of the pages have minor foxing from age. Hand-cut pages with a few still uncut.
Previous owner's bookplate on the inside cover. The bookplate is in the name of John Derby Allcroft. No way of knowing for sure but there was a John Derby Allcroft who was an English politician in the House of Commons during the time that these were printed. (?)
