This is a selection of 17 volumes from the Funk & Wagnall's New Standard Encyclopedia of Universal Knowledge. These palm-sized books were published by Funk & Wagnall's Company in 1931.
Bound in green, the books have a blind-stamped banding on the cover with gilt lettering and design along each spine, an embossed medallion on each cover, and green-tinted page tops.
The set measures 18.5” across, 6” tall, and is 4.25" front to back.
Includes volumes 1-6, 8-14, 17, 18, 23, and 24.
Good condition with some age-related wear to covers and spines as can be seen in the pictures. Spine slightly loose on volumes 17, 18, and 23. Previous owner's signature in each volume.
