

1901 Works of Honore De Balzac, Limited Numbered Edition Royale, S/6
A beautiful antique 6-volume collection of The Edition Royale of the Comedie Humaine by Honore de Balzac. These are from The Edition Royale de Luxe which was a numbered edition limited to 1250 copies of which these are from set 593.
Volumes have green bindings with a black-and-white frontispiece, hand-cut pages, and gilt page tops. They were published in Philadelphia by Avil Publishers in 1901.
The set measures 9.5" across and is 9" tall.
